CCUSA Work Experience Program Options
Placement Program
On CCUSA’s signature service, you will work directly with an experienced Work Experience USA Program Coordinator from our office in California. Detailed information is gathered for each employer and posted to our online Employer Directory. Program participants use the online directory to select employers for which they would like to work. A Program Coordinator will then forward all participants who meet your staffing criteria to your company for review. This system ensures an ideal match between participant and employer.
What the Placement Program Provides:
- Work with an experienced Program Coordinator who will personally assist you with your staffing needs.
- Detailed applications.
- Interviewer's Report Form (Interviews are conducted personally in English by CCUSA staff) that gives ratings in English skills and comprehension.
- Exclusive review of applications (only one employer reviews a participant at a time).
- An international employee who is legally prepared to work for you (a J-1 work/travel visa, accident and illness insurance and orientation about Social Security and US taxes).
- 24-hour emergency hotline support in the USA.
Independent Program Option
Before leaving his/her home country, the Independent participant elects to find a seasonal job in the USA without the assistance of a Work Experience USA Program Coordinator. We do provide each independent participant access to our Online Job Hunt site, an interactive website where employer and participants can connect. If you sign up for the Job Hunt site, CCUSA will request detailed information about your company, positions available and your community that will be available to independent participants.
What the Independent Program Provides:
- Access to thousands of prescreened international students looking for seasonal employment in the USA.
- If you sign up for participation in the CCUSA Online Job Hunt site, you will be able to review participant profiles, communicate with potential participants and extend job offers – all in one location.
- An international employee who is legally prepared to work for you (a J-1 work/travel visa, accident and illness insurance and orientation about Social Security and US taxes).
- All Independent Participants are screened for English language ability, maturity and motivational levels before acceptance to the program.
- 24-hour emergency hotline support in the USA.
