Work Experience USA provides employers with qualified international staff for seasonal positions throughout the USA during the spring, summer, and winter seasons.

WEUSA is a designated BridgeUSA/J-1 visa sponsor by the U.S. Department of State. We issue the required DS2019 document needed for our international participants to obtain their J-1 visa. Through the Summer Work Travel J-1 program, international participants are allowed to work in the USA for up to four months during their university break dates.

WEUSA is not considered a work program. The BridgeUSA/J-1 Cultural Exchange visa program is under the auspices of the US Department of State. The program is considered to be an important part of the public diplomacy efforts of the USA. It was created to foster global understanding through educational and cultural exchanges. Participants, employers and WEUSA must abide by the regulations of the program.

Thorough Screening and Safety

WEUSA provides comprehensive travel insurance for all participants for the duration of their contract period. WEUSA participants are also required to obtain a criminal background check in their home country as a condition for participation on our program. WEUSA participants will also arrive with a detailed Health History Form completed and signed by their physician.
