What is the J-1 Summer Work Travel Exchange Visa? Why choose Work Experience USA?
The J-1 Cultural Exchange visa program is under the auspices of the US Department of State. The program is considered to be an important part of the public diplomacy efforts of the USA. Created to foster global understanding through educational and cultural exchanges, all exchange visitors are expected to return to their home country upon completion of their program in order to share their exchange experiences.
The Summer Work Travel J-1 is not solely a work program but must include a strong cultural component which will expose the participant to American culture. As such, the program does have many restrictions on the type of work that participants may do. CCUSA Work Experience will guide you through all the complexities of the program.
